An F1 weekend is a story in three parts.
Friday's practice is for gathering data, testing parts, and simulating race conditions. Saturday's qualifying is a pure adrenaline rush, a quest for the perfect lap that defines the starting grid. Sunday's race is the grand finale, where strategy, skill, and stamina merge over dozens of laps to crown a winner.

⚙️ Qualifying Structure (Q1–Q3)
The path to pole position is a ruthless elimination process.
Q1: 20 drivers, 18 minutes; the slowest five set the rear of the grid. Q2: 15 drivers, 15 minutes; the next slowest five fill positions 11 to 15. Q3: The top ten have 12 minutes to deliver their best, with the fastest earning the right to start first.
Survive the cut, then go for pole.

🏎️ Points & Championships
The fight for points drives the entire season.
A points system from 25 down to 1 rewards the top ten finishers in every Grand Prix. An extra point is available for the driver who sets the Fastest Lap, injecting an extra layer of competition for those in point-scoring positions. These points are tallied for the two most coveted awards in motorsport: the Drivers' World Championship and the Constructors' World Championship, a testament to a team's collective effort.

🚦 Pit Stops & Race Safety
A race can be transformed in the blink of an eye during a pit stop.
Rules require drivers to use at least two different tyre compounds, making pit stop strategy a critical component of race planning. The speed and efficiency of the pit crew are vital, with stops being a high-pressure, split-second operation. For safety, the Safety Car is used to slow the field and allow for track clearing, while the Virtual Safety Car imposes a speed limit on all cars via their dashboards, neutralizing the race without the field bunching up.
